I have the eye serum and I love it. I like the ingredients list of this oil and it feels nice on the skin but it has an odd smell and I’m curious if it’s one of the ingredients or if the bottle I bought is rancid. Thank you.
Hi Jenny
Unfortunately, natural ingredients can have strong, unusual scents. Mass produced, store bought cosmetics use ingredeitns that have been stripped of most of their healing components. They are deoderized, bleached and subjected to high heat to produce them. It helps make every product smell nice and consistant but are of little healing value. We don't use ingredients like that. We use undeoderized, cold pressed, non bleached ingredients which can lead to odd smells, bright colors and weird textures. Pumpkin oil and seabuckthorn oil are good examples of bright colors and odd smells. Pumpkin oil is dark brown while seabuckthorn is brilliant almost neon orange. Both smell like stinky feet yet are amazing skincare ingredients.
The eye area is very delicate so we do not use any essential oils in the eye serum. Essential oils play 3 rolls in our formulas: they can act as a preservative, they are antioxidants, anti inflammatories, and healing. They also cover the scent of unusual ingredients. Many of the healing ingredients we use have odd or unusual smells and don't blend well like green algae, licorice root, green tea and copper. While we do use hydrosols to help cover the scents, they are delicate and not quite enough to cover the smell of the other ingredients. The batch of eye gel you have is the new batch with a new bottle of algae extract. It is fishier than the bottle we just finished using. We can adjust any new batches we make by adding less algae so it isn't as fishy smelling. The bad news is this means less skin tightening, firming, collagen promoting elasticity for your skin. For this batch, we suggest putting a face cream overtop to mask the smell. This will mean you will get the results you want and mask the scent. Meanwhile we will put on our thinking caps to see if we can find a solution that keeps the algae in the formula but covers the scent.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

I have purchased most of your line. And loving it. i am wondering if its best to use the precious oils or the hydrating serum or both in my nightime regimen?
Hi Amber
We're so happy to hear that you've been enjoying our products!
In terms of your nighttime regimen, both the precious oils and hydrating serum can be used together for maximum nourishment and hydration. In winter, I would recommend using both, twice a day. Always use the serum first, followed by the oils to lock in moisture.
However, if you prefer a lighter option, you can alternate between the two or use the serum in the morning and oil at night. We hope this helps! Thank you for your support.

I absolutely love this products it is light and not oily
Hi Lesley
I am always happy to hear that people love the facial oils. I am thinking of upping it a notch by adding vitamin C to the formula. What do you think? I am asking my customers before I do anything to the formula they love.
Joann
PS I am in the middle of formulating a Vitamin C serum so may not need to add it to the facial oils as well. I need feedback!
I tired numerous products from this line the last few months and really LOVE the skin care line. My favourite product is the Precious Oils Blend. I add it to the moisturizer I am using and it really holds the moisture in my skin. It’s a top notch product that I don’t want ever want to be without!! It’s the powerhouse of the skin care line imo.
Thankyou for formulating such a superb product!!
Hi Jacoba
Thank you for the fabulous review. You just made my day!
Several of my friends also swear by the face oil blend as well. They like to use it before bed. The natural oils in the blend are all truly amazing for the skin. Why chose chemicals when nature has so much more to offer?

I like this lightweight oil; no artificial odours, feels silky
Thanks Barbara!
Lots of people have told us they love the face oils but few take the time to leave a public review. This means the world to us!
