The blood orange is a variety of orange with reddish, blood like flesh. The flavour is usually tart, with hints of raspberry. The aroma has a richer, tarter and more complex scent than Sweet Orange essential oil. The red colour comes from anthocyanin which contains more antioxidants than most other cultivars of oranges. Choose blood orange one if you are a fan of citrus scents! Known to be anti-stress, anti-anxiety, anti-anxiety.

How to use our pure blood orange essential oil:
Massage oil:best if blended in small amounts with other essential oils. (15-20 drops/ 30mL of carrier oil such as fractionated coconut, sunflower, etc)
Diffuser: 5-6 drops in water
Lotion, soaps, shampoo: add 5 drops per 30mL of unscented base/lotion
TIP: To extend the shelf life of citrus essential oils, keep refrigerated.
Note: should mainly be used in diffusers and not on skin as most citrus can cause skin reactions. Always patch test before using on your skin!
