This is one of those soaps that has a complex scent. The top note is definitely cedarwood but as you continue to use it, the juniper berry catches up adding a freshness to the heaviness of the cedarwood. A lovely soap for using in the shower, it will transport you to a mountain forest. Both men and women will like this.
